Toyota LandCruiser Prado 250 Series owners now have greater choice when shopping for off-road accessories, with Australian specialist TJM revealing and pricing its bullbars for the new 4×4.

Claimed to be the first aftermarket accessories available in Australia for the new Prado, TJM has shown off a pair of bullbars which can now be purchased and fitted locally to all variants of the popular off-roader.

The more affordable Venturer bar is priced from $2850 (excluding fitment) and is ADR-compliant and airbag-compatible, and has provisions for a winch, two aerials and TJM’s own spotlights.

TJM says the Venturer bullbar adds approximately 40kg to the Prado’s weight when fitted, excluding accessories, eating into the vehicle’s 580kg-615kg payload.

Stepping up to the Outback bullbar sets buyers back $3250 and adds 63mm outer pipes and ‘cato straps’ – designed to offer greater strength and headlight protection to the Prado – as well as LED combination lights.

It boasts the same provisions and safety features as the Venturer bar, however it adds an extra 10kg compared to the smaller bar.

For both bullbars, TJM quotes an estimated installation time of 4.5-5 hours, which will cost an extra $585-$725.

The TJM accessories are engineered and designed in Australia, and are backed by a three-year warranty.

ARB in November revealed a range of accessories at SEMA in the US, but these have yet to arrive in Australia.
