Fringe Fremantle Docker Jack Delean hides in bin then falls out to provide humour for teammates at training

No more of that rubbish.
Nothing could be more symbolic of Fremantle’s performance against Adelaide than youngster Jack Delean’s move to put a smile on everyone’s faces at training on Monday.

The sight of Delean hiding in a bin in the middle of the oval, then rising with a grin before crashing to the ground as he attempted to get out was unusual but it also brought mirth to those watching.

The Dockers were a happy group after beating Adelaide at Optus Stadium and can now prepare for Friday night’s game against St Kilda with plenty of confidence and enthusiasm.
Ruckman Luke Jackson was part of the recovery session with his teammates as he attempts to prove he has recovered from a hamstring injury.
Delean, a South Adelaide forward who was taken with pick 60 in the 2023 draft, will have to continue to bide his time in the WAFL for now amid a selection squeeze at the Dockers.
The 20-year-old has booted three goals in as many league appearances for Peel Thunder this season, averaging 12 disposals per game.
