Sam Harper is at it again!

The young Victorian was involved in a heavy collision with Melbourne Stars bowler Liam Hatcher in Sunday night’s Big Bash League derby clash.

Luckily for both players, they escaped injury with fans quick to note the hit was more suited to an AFL field.

Stars captain Glenn Maxwell checked on both players after the collision.

“You need to take care of yourself if you keep trying to stand on blokes’ heads,” he told Harper.

Turning to his bowler, he joked: “Mate, he’s half the size of you. How are you getting beaten up by him?”

The collision was similar to Harper’s sickening ordeal almost a year to date while batting for the Renegades against Hobart.

Harper was taken to hospital suffering concussion after his attempt to leap over bowler Nathan Ellis went horribly wrong last season.

The youngster was flipped over and landed awkwardly on the back of his helmet before he was sent for scans.

“I’m just like… I need to make the crease. I couldn’t dive because he was standing there,” Harper said of the incident.

“He just came up at the wrong time.”

Harper was also concussed in a 2017 Sheffield Shield game as Jake Lehmann struck him in the helmet with his bat in a freak accident.

The young gun has previously spoken about his health fears following that frightening ordeal.

“I couldn’t get out of bed because for some reason I couldn’t walk,” he told 7Sport.

“Nineteen years old and someone’s taking me to the toilet like I’m in kindergarten. I’m getting physio for walking and three days before I was playing for Victoria at the Adelaide Oval.”
