One of the most iconic post-grand final moments of this century is Jack Riewoldt jumping on stage with the Killers belting out Mr Brightside in the middle of the MCG.

You couldn’t say Collingwood’s Darcy Cameron was quite able to match that effort but he gave it his best shot taking the mic off Aussie legend Daryl Braithwaite to give his own rendition of the classic Horses.

Braithwaite was on hand to give a bit of guidance before Cameron successfully led the crowd through the rousing chorus.

As the MCG began to filter out the party had only just begun for the Pies after their stunning four-point triumph on Saturday over Brisbane.

They weren’t alone of course with families, friends and even some AFL rivals joining them in the rooms to celebrate.

WA’s Billy Frampton was seen with Ex-Crows teammates Reilly O’Brien (donning a Frampton badge) and Crow-turned-Bomber Jake Kelly after his unlikely grand final win.

Once the players had finally made their way out of the MCG it was a quick walk, or perhaps stumble, across the road to their home base where a massive crowd was their to kick off their own party.

However, leave it to the coach to remain calm after one of the most extraordinary days of his life.

After his wife gave birth just before 8am grand final morning, to coaching his side to one of the most extraordinary grand final wins in recent memory Craig McRae only wanted one thing post-game.

“I’m going to steal that cup and I’m going to get a photo with my gorgeous little girl Maggie and my wife and the cup,” he said.

It would be hard to see any Pie deny his request.
