Meghan Markle reveals ‘Chantilly Lili’ dessert recipe inspired by daughter Lilibet and grandma’s pudding

Meghan Markle has revealed something sweet, unveiling ”Chantilly Lili,” a creamy, layered dessert named after her 3-year-old daughter, Princess Lilibet.
The Duchess of Sussex shared an Instagram tutorial on Thursday, whisking homemade vanilla pudding with Organic Valley milk, layering strawberries soaked in lemon juice, and topping it all with crushed vanilla wafers.
Midway through the video, she paused to cradle her rescue dog Mia, while her other pup, Pula, lingered nearby, sniffing the air for treats.
“I did a spin on my grandma’s banana pudding recipe, making homemade vanilla pudding, layering in fresh chantilly cream (doesn’t the word ‘chantilly’ make you think of that old Big Bopper song?!),” referencing the 1950s classic.“With strawberries soaked in fresh lemon juice and a touch of sugar. Of course, slices of banana and vanilla wafers layer in for this sweet treat we named after Lili.”
For time-strapped bakers, she suggested shortcuts like store-bought vanilla pudding mix and frozen whipped topping infused with vanilla extract.
“Whatever you have time for, it will be delicious! **To make the cookies into crumbles, place them in a ziploc bag and use a rolling pin to break them up - easy to do and adds great texture and finish!**”
The dessert’s debut comes after Meghan’s As Ever lifestyle brand launched on April 2, with its entire product line selling out in under an hour.
The Limited-Edition Wildflower Honey with Honeycomb was gone in less than five minutes, and fans are eagerly awaiting restocks.
It comes as no surprise that her homemade raspberry jam, also part of the As Ever collection, flew off shelves in just 30 minutes.
