The Balingup Medieval Carnivale took over the community grounds on August 27, injecting a burst of colour, whimsical music, creative costume, and dance into the area.
The grand parade was the highlight of the family-friendly carnival, but a range of activities and experiences also included live music and dance, live action reenactors and medievalists, camel rides, snake cuddling, birds of prey watching, archery and more.
