VideoAn Aussie punter has forfeited a million dollars in prize money after winning Lotto but failing to collect their jackpot.

There’s another WA Lotto player on the rich list after scooping a cool $1.29 million in Saturday’s jackpot.

The ticket was bought through Lotterywest Play Online and was one of four winners across the nation.

Lotterywest spokeswoman Zoe Wender said Saturday Lotto continued to bring good fortune to West Aussies.

“This makes our 49th division one win so far this year, with these players sharing in more than $65 million,” she said.

“Thanks to WA players and retailers, the community is also a winner with all available profits from each ticket sold funding grants across the State.

“A $200,000 grant has supported Telethon to put on the Lotterywest Kids Carnival, happening this Sunday, October 20, at RAC Arena, with lots of free fun and entertainment on offer for the whole family.”

Eight players across WA also shared prizes worth more than $9000 in Saturday’s draw

It comes after Capel ticket shared the jackpot last Saturday, while Friday’s Millionaire Medley produced two WA division two wins of $7933.
