Anzac Day 2025 services to honour and remember troops from Katanning and Great Southern

Anzac Day events to remember all those who served Australia and New Zealand will take place across Katanning and the upper Great Southern on Friday.
Dawn and commemorative services, marches, gunfire breakfasts are only some of the ways the towns’ troops will be honoured.
This is where and when the community will mark April 25.
KATANNING
Troop march, corner of Carvew and Cliff streets, 5.45am
Anzac Day service, Katanning War Memorial, Prosser Park, 6am. Gold coin donation for breakfast at the Scouts/Guide hall.
BROOMEHILL
Anzac Day service, Broomehill War Memorial, 6.45am, followed by a cooked breakfast at the Broomehill Town Hall.
CRANBROOK
Dawn service, Sukey Hill, 6am, followed by a gunfire breakfast at the Cranbrook Memorial Hall, 9am.
Troop march, corner of Gathorne and Gordon streets, 8.30am
Commemorative service, Cranbrook Memorial Hall, 9am, followed by morning tea at the town hall.
Mid-morning service at the Tenterden War Memorial, 9.30am.
DUMBLEYUNG
Commemorative service, Dumbleyung War Memorial, 11.30am.
Event highlights include a march or wreath lay, attendance of the Australian Light Horse members, guest speakers, a barbecue lunch and Dumbleyung and Districts Those Who Served book launch.
GNOWANGERUP
Dawn service, Cenotaph, 6am. Followed by breakfast at the Gnowangerup lesser hall.
The RSL will be open for viewing.
JERRAMUNGUP
Dawn service at the Jerramungup War Memorial, 6am, followed by gunfire breakfast at the town hall.
Dawn service at the Rock Cairn on Cuneo Drive, Bremer Bay, 6am, followed by a gunfire breakfast at the town hall.
KOJONUP
Troop march, Commercial Hotel Kojonup carpark to the RSL Hall, 7.45am
Anzac Day service, Kojonup RSL hall, 8am, followed by a gunfire breakfast.
Commemorative service, Muradup Memorial, 10am, followed by morning tea.
Commemorative Service, Jingalup Memorial, 1pm.
NYABING
Fall in and troop march, RSL hall 9.50am
Commemorative service, Nyabing Memorial Park, 10am
TAMBELLUP
Commemorative service, Tambellup War Memorial, 10am, followed by morning tea provided by the Tambellup CWA.
WAGIN
Dawn service and gunfire breakfast, 6am, Eric Farrow Pavilion
This year marks the 100th anniversary of the dedication of the Wagin War Memorial.
WOODANILLING
Commemorative service and troop march, Woodanilling Church, 9.15am. Followed by a morning tea provided by Woodanilling CWA.
