Young entrepreneurs aged 10-25 get ready: A Day in the Laneway is back for its third year this April

Geraldton’s A Day in the Laneway is returning for its third year this April, giving young entrepreneurs the chance to showcase their talents.
Rocks Laneway will once again come alive with the maker’s market, giving young people aged 10-25 an opportunity to show off their merchandise and sell their home-made products to celebrate Youth Week WA.
Shoppers can expect local handmade goods like jewellery, crocheted pieces, artwork, home goods and a whole lot more.
City of Greater Geraldton mayor Jerry Clune was thrilled to have the event return for another year.
“A Day in the Laneway has proven to be a resounding success with young people, and I am delighted that our budding business tycoons will continue to have the opportunity to sell their creations,” he said.
“This free event is a fantastic way for savvy young people to sell their goods, gain valuable business skills and have a great time.
“I encourage everyone to join us for A Day in the Laneway, support our young people and enjoy a fun day out.”
The event, which is made possible by Rio Tinto and Borrowed Bunting, will take place on Saturday, April 12 from 10am to 1pm in Rocks Laneway on Marine Terrace.
Expressions of interest for stalls will close Saturday, March 29, with applications and further information available on the city’s website https://www.cgg.wa.gov.au/community/events-and-programs/a-day-in-the-laneway.aspx
