From this year, Corpus Christi College will offer a co-educational learning experience from Kindergarten to Year 12.

Located in the southern suburb of Bateman, the amalgamation of Yidarra Catholic Primary School with Corpus Christi College is an exciting opportunity to provide families with a well-rounded education for their whole school experience.

Features of the Kindergarten to Year 12 college include:

• Catholic religious education and sacramental programs

• State-of-the-art facilities, including a new theatre and a semi-enclosed aquatic centre

• Apple Distinguished School status

• iPad learning from Year 4

• Exceptional pastoral care program

• Gifted and talented programs

• 50-plus clubs and extracurricular activities

• Interschool sports teams

• Australian Tertiary Admission Rank and General (vocational education and training) pathways.

The amalgamation aims to benefit from the established strengths of both schools and a personal and professional link with the St Thomas More Bateman Parish Catholic Church.

“Both schools were impressive – their vision, their operations and their outcomes are notable,” Corpus Christi College Principal Jeff Allen said. “I am excited to combine these great schools and cannot wait to see our shared vision come to fruition.

“It’s a pivotal moment in the history of Corpus Christi College.

“We are going to be big, but we are also going to be great.”

Guided by Catholic principles, Corpus Christi College values the individual child and understands that providing a learning environment, which fosters spiritual and personal growth, is just as important as intellectual growth.

As a Kindergarten to Year 12 college, educational programs will continue to be available for gifted and talented students in a range of fields, as well as individualised support for students with disability or learning difficulties.

Students are offered the opportunity to connect with their peers, explore new interests and fine-tune their skills in the many sporting, performing arts, academic extension or Christian service extracurricular activities on offer.

The skills and knowledge gained from such pursuits ensure students are able to meet the challenges of society with confidence.

With increasing demand, Corpus Christi College encourages prospective families to apply well in advance of their entry year to avoid disappointment.
