Light plane crashes near Serpentine Airfield, emergency services on scene

A light-plane crash has been reported south of Perth near the Serpentine Airfield in Hopeland.

According to 7News the aircraft came down in a paddock at 2.37pm.

One person was on board and the initial reports said that the pilot was trapped inside.

St John Ambulance, firefighters, and police are on the scene.
