A young boy, who vanished from a Sydney shopping centre two days ago, has been found safe and well.

NSW Police on Saturday appealed for information after Brya Watton, 12, was last seen at Westfield Eastgardens at about 2pm on Thursday.

Police issued a public appeal in an effort to locate him, saying they and his family held serious concerns for his wellbeing due to his young age.

However in good news, NSW Police late on Saturday morning said the boy had been found.

“Following inquiries, about 11.30am today, the boy was located safe and well,” NSW Police said.

“Police would like to thank the public and media for their assistance.”
