WA Police release dramatic vision of business burglaries in Perth’s south in bid to find disguised culprits

Detectives are calling for help from the community to track down the culprits behind a wave of business burglaries in Perth’s south and south-east. WA Police released dramatic footage on Monday showing the offenders forcing entry into the commercial premises between September 3 and 24. The break-ins occurred in Canning Vale, Como, East Fremantle, East Victoria Park, Forrestdale, Leeming, Manning, Willagee, Willetton, Winthrop and South Perth. In one clip, a person wearing a hoodie kicks the glass front door of a hair salon until it smashes and they fall through it. In another, a hooded and masked person uses a crowbar to try to get into what appears to be a cafe, with an alfresco area and dog’s water bowl out front. They are joined by a similarly dressed person on a scooter and the pair ride off together.
