Teen charged with murder of a man in outback Queensland
A teenager has been charged with murder over the death of a man in the Central Highlands region in Queensland last week.
The 58-year-old was found unresponsive at a home in Emerald on Friday, following a disturbance.
The man and the 18-year-old were known to each other, Queensland Police said.
The younger man was charged with murder on Thursday and denied police bail to appear in Emerald Magistrates Court later in the day.
Police are appealing for anyone who knows the two men to come forward as the investigation continues.
