Sydney woman charged with attempted murder
An inner-west Sydney woman has been charged with attempted murder after allegedly attempting to kill a man in a domestic-related incident.
The incident occurred in Croydon on the evening of December 3, with a 70-year-old man found by emergency services with serious head injuries.
A 65-year-old woman was later found in the back yard with stab wounds.
Both people were taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, where the man remains in a serious condition.
The woman was the next day charged with wounding with intent to murder and refused bail to appear at Newtown Local Court on Wednesday.
She was formally refused bail on Wednesday and will reappear at the same court on February 18, 2021.
