Man, 46, facing court after allegedly dousing Maddington home with petrol and threatening to harm woman, child

A man will face court today after allegedly dousing a Maddington house in petrol and threatening to burn it down with a woman and several children inside. The incident happened at 2pm on Saturday, when the man allegedly splashed petrol inside the house and on the woman in a suspected domestic violence incident. It is alleged the man then exited the house and threatened to harm a young child. The 46-year-old man will appear in Perth Magistrates Court today charged with two counts of threatening with intent to cause detriment in circumstance of aggravation and one count of unlawful act or omission with intent to harm.
