The WA Health Department has added to the long list of COVID exposure sites after another backpacker tested positive for the virus on Thursday.

The latest case - a 27-year-old man - visited several venues in the Fremantle area, including Domino’s Pizza in East Fremantle, a BP service station and climbing venue Portside Boulders.

Those who visited Portside Boulders in O’Connor on December 27 between 2pm and 4.30pm are being ordered to get tested immediately and isolate until they receive a negative result.

Anyone who visited the new sites is urged to monitor for symptoms and get tested if they feel unwell.

Just days before being named as an exposure site, staff at Portside Boulders reminded customers to wear a face mask at all time except when climbing the wall.

“Please remember your mask while visiting, and continue checking in when you arrive using the SafeWA app or paper register,” staff wrote on Facebook on December 23.

The new list is in addition to a host of South West sites as well as Perth entertainment venues including the Perth Mess Hall, where several people who attended a rave have since tested positive for the virus.
