Jetstar customers stranded in Australia, Indonesia and Japan airports, check-in issues lasted three hours
Jetstar travellers were left stranded at airports across Australia, Indonesia and Japan because they could not check-in their baggage for three hours on Saturday morning.
The airline said it was experiencing technical difficulties, which have since been fixed.
“An IT issue that impacted our check-in and boarding systems today has now been fixed,” a Jetstar spokesperson said.
“We thank customers for their patience and understanding and sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused.”
Check-in kiosks and boarding systems at airports around Australia, Indonesia and Japan were affected resulting in two flights being cancelled.
In Perth, flights experienced delays but no cancellations.
“Our operations are returning to normal however there may still be some flow on impacts to flights today,” the airline said.
