Reporting LIVE

DRIZZY flicked the switch!

After telling the crowd that “they say a lot of people don’t come to Perth”, he’d wanted us to know we deserve some love!

And more dancing across his stage-to-stage bridge!

OUTFIT CHANGE

He’s dropped the all black sweats for a puffy camo jacket and pants...

And TWO stages! He’s dancing between them and the crowd is following him from one side of the Arena to to the other like seagulls to a chip.

Throwing back to his bangers

The Motto is on the menu as Drake cooks up his classics for an adoring crowd.

He’s given some life to Perth

“This is my first time back here since future music festival 2017.

Point is... I’m on a mission.

We took a long flight over here and I put together a special show for you.”

The great man has emerged from the crowd in a veil of smoke!

Taking a seat in a stage couch, the crowd has gone crazy for the star who stars with a slowed version of Passionfruit.

Mosh is building…

Barely flailing a third of the standing zone earlier, the mosh pit is sensing something’s about to give and has filled up dramatically.

Close to a full house now!

Is it in God’s Plan for Drake to perform tonight?

Twenty minutes after the hype DJ set we’re still waiting for the man of the hour.

This very youthful crowd is getting a tad impatient as the temperature in RAC Arena seems to be increasing.

It’s a mystery how so many people have not bothered with even a cup of water.

House ain’t quite full

DJ spade and his boy Eric warmed up the crowd, but there’s still 20 per cent of seats empty.

Is this gonna be a packed house?

Perhaps the stragglers in the corridors will cruise on through once they hear their man’s voice.

If there are any.

Annnnd we have action!

A couple of DJ’s from New York and Houston respectively have the crowd jumping straight off the bat with some remixes.

Tick tock… still no action

At 8:25pm we’re still waiting for the crowd to take their seats.... and still no sign of life anywhere near the stage.
