Farmers offered hay time help

Countryman

Hay season has started and the conditions look good in most areas.

There's an increased demand for export hay, so to help farmers make the most of the season, Case IH is offering its latest range of hay tools for purchase with no repayments until February 2013 combined with a low 6.95 per cent interest rate.

The Case IH finance package for farmers who buy a hay baler, windrower or mower conditioner is for a limited time only.

"Hay crops are looking good and a forecast for above average yields has increased optimism among farmers," Case IH product manager Geoff Rendell said.

"We want to give them something else to smile about.

"When you're racing the clock to bale as much hay, straw or silage as possible, it helps to know your equipment is reliable and designed with productivity in mind."

Cases IH's square and round balers delivered outstanding productivity and quality, Mr Rendell said.

"Big bales are made easy with the Case IH LB 3 Series large square balers that set the standard for precisely shaped bales," he said.

"Our new models, the LB333 and the LB433, fill bales more densely, provide improved knotter reliability and offer as optional equipment a bale weighting system, on-board moisture sensor and ProIDTM Individual Bale Identification system."

Productivity gains are also assured with the new, larger rotor cutter and feeder in the Case IH RB 454 and RB 464 round balers.

Now 455mm in diameter, the new rotor is 33mm bigger than the previous one, providing up to 30 per cent more capacity depending on the crop.

"Case IH RB 4 Series round balers consistently build dense round bales, even in varying crop and field conditions," Mr Rendell said.

"RB Balers are recognised for their wide pickups, durable endless belts and rolls and the ability to custom-build round bales."

The Case IH SB Series offers the SB541, a small square baler, that's been built to stand up to season after season of heavy-duty baling. The SB541 features wide pickups, heavy-duty feeding systems and gear-driven knotters.

The Case IH WD 3 Series of windrowers offer outstanding windrowing performance and operator comfort.

The WD1203, WD1903 and WD2303 can effortlessly handle heavy crops and hillsides with a power range between 126hp and 225hp (94kW-168kW).

The WD 3 Series features standard cab suspension, independent rear axle suspension, independent hydraulic header flotation and the most comfortable cabs in the industry.

"Whether harvesting hay for their own herd or a custom hay operator, the Case IH WD 3 Series windrowers provide an ideal set-up for any operation," Mr Rendell said.

"Farmers have the choice of two top-performance rotary disc headers, four sicklebar headers and three draper headers to make their perfect windrower/header match."

Farmers should contact their local Case IH dealership for more information on how to take advantage of hay equipment finance offers.
