Region diversity on display at show
From fresh produce, pearls, wool and camel milk, to wildflowers, prospecting for gold and virtual reality farm experiences, the IGA Perth Royal Show’s Walk Through WA pavilion showcased the State’s regions — and agriculture — in true style.
The pavilion aims to celebrate WA’s diversity, with displays covering the Kimberley, Pilbara, Gascoyne, Mid West, Wheatbelt, Great Southern, Goldfields-Esperance, South West and Peel districts.
Many displays used technology to highlight the beauty of their regions, including video content on unique flora and fauna and sightseeing adventures.
Agritourism was another popular feature of this year’s displays, with organisers keen to promote the important contribution of agriculture to the State.
